Mackie`s Pizza in Harrisburg

Very very good. Better pizza than the chain restaurants and killer salads. They also have some fun throw back arcade games like Pac-Man. The service was friendly.

Mackies has the best pizza ever. The thin crust Harrisburg special is one of my favorites. Great place to eat.

Cheese sticks, thin crust pizza, thick crust pizza. All are good choices. My new kick is thin crust with the deep dish sauce.

Food is always on point. Staple of the community. A great business with long term employees and great pizza. This business also gives back to the community.

There is simply no other pizza like Mackie's Pizza! I have such wonderful childhood memories there, many birthday parties and then raising my own family on Mackie's! Love everything on the menu from the unique pizza, melt in your mouth breadsticks and fresh salads. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

This store was OK, but not near as good as the one in Marion, IL. I wasn't as impressed as I had hoped. I probably would not come here again.

I'm addicted to the cheese bread sticks an red sauce. Not exactly healthy but unless you're 40 who cares!!!

Tasty thin-crust pizza. Salad was good. Marinara for breadsticks seemed really sweet.

Loved the pizza! We got everything on our pizza except anchovies and jalapenos. It even came with apples on it which we never had but was very good! The smell of pizza cooking when you walk in was amazing. Definitely recommend this place!

Deep dish Harrisburg Special with Apple Slices. Thank me later.And be forwarned, table service is hit & miss. If you're timid, you're chances at getting that refill on your drink are slim.Edit 5/23/19: Tipped $14 on a $66 bill before getting service. Never again. No refills offered. Get up, go to the counter, wait in line, & ask. Not sure why they hired servers. I'm not that guy, I don't leave bad reviews, but seriously Mackie's, is it too hard to have a server check on a table at least twice while they're eating their meal?

Eating Mackie's pizza since 1973. Moved away in early 1980's. Haven't found a pizza as good as Mackie's in 40 years. All of my return visits for vacation, births, funerals, graduations, etc., include a visit to Mackie's Pizza!

Well never been to mackies before.I take my wife out for a anniversary and salads came and were good , bread sticks came out they were awesome, but they bring out one pizza ? We ordered our own pizzas !!well they didnt even cook hers . Wth so bad service or help ...also didn't seem even care...

Absolutely delicious!!Second best pizza I've ever eaten. #1 is in Joliet, IL a little to far to drive for dinner.

Mackie’s Harrisburg Special is our all time favorite pizza. Always delicious. We’ve always had nice, courteous staff and a good experience.

The food is fine but the staff seemed confused. Part of our order was forgotten and then came out wrong.

Just wish more people wore masks. All workers should be wearing them. These are trying times but we all need work together.

We have loved Mackie's for many years! They have always been consistent with their service and the pizza is like none other. I literary dreamed about going there when I lived in Florida for a few years. So glad were back and can go there often. Thank you for being a great staple in our community. <3 <3 <3

Best pizza in the area. I remember when they were Monical’s Pizza in Parker Plaza. It was the best then and it’s still the best.

It was hot inside, like the air was turned off. Kids screaming the whole time. I'm not sure what to make of the service. You have a waitress or you kinda don't? We ended up just getting up and getting our own drink refills and parmesan cheese and stuff like that. But the pizza is good. Probably get it to go from now on...

This has been a favorite from my childhood! Absolutely the best pizza hands down! Mackie was a good guy too!!

Great pizza at a great price. My only recommendation is it needs more sauce, so you may want to buy a cup of pizza sauce or two...or ask them for extra pizza sauce. Give it a try!

First of all the pizza there is no. 1 , service is great as well. They are friendly and fast . If you haven't been to Mackies Pizza then you need to come to try it. You won't be sorry.

I was told this was a good place to get food which it was the food was GREAT, but the service was not I seen my server a whole 2 time when I first sat down and right before I left.

Iv been eating mackies my hole life and I love that nothing has changed it's great knowing I can still get my favorite pizza along with a great atmosphere and great service!!

We order a Mackie Special last night and asked for and paid for green olives. Pizza took a long time to arrive and after eating a couple pieces I asked my wife if she got any green olives. She said she did not get any so I told a waitress that they were not on it I mentioned it to the desk where they were rude and they basically said I was lying and did not even offer to refund the price of the olives. I had a half a pizza left and got a box and did not want them to make a correct one, but as much as we like their pizza it makes me think twice before ever going back.

This place is so good! I moved away from the area several years ago and I have never found a pizza place who has mastered the thin crust pizza like Mackies has. I love coming home to this.
